Team
Manager Duties
It is the Team
Manager's role to handle the administrative duties of the team and to be the
focal point for communications between the parents and the coach.
Initial Parent Team
Meeting: Each
team needs to have an initial/first meeting in which the coach can become
acquainted with all of the parents. A team manager needs to be selected.
General
Responsibilities:
- Provide a team roster with names, addresses, phone numbers and parent's
names to all players.
- Collect player photos, laminate MYSA player passes for each player.
Include an identification card attached to the ring in case passes are
lost!
- Provide printed practice and game schedules, and distribute any other
communications as may be necessary during the season.
- Register for District/State Tournaments.
Tournaments:
PROCEDURE FOR
REGISTERING FOR TOURNAMENTS: Once you determine the tournament fees for
each player, you need to collect payment by check payable to FLSA (Forest
Lake Soccer Association). Once you have collected all tournament fees in
full, you must contact the Treasurer (Randi Bildeaux
rlbildeaux@imation.com ) to turn the checks into her and get
reimbursement. Once you receive reimbursement you can then register for the
tournaments your team has decided to do. If paying for a tournament by
credit card, please be sure to make a copy of the on-line registration
receipt to turn in for reimbursement.
District-State
Tournament Registration:
Please pay close attention to registration deadline. Failure to meet the
deadline will result in your team not participating in the end of the season
tournaments.
Uniforms:
The club organizes the uniform purchase and will be distributed at the
season kickoff picnic.

Please keep in mind:
- Newspapers want game action photos that are clear with the name(s) of the
team players appearing in the photo. Not team photos normally.
- Newspapers want to see different players. Do not submit the same player
from different games and no other players – get photos of different
players when possible.
- Encourage parents to email coach with a few good action photos of players.
